Manivasagam is in love with Yazhini, played by Lovelyn Chandrasekhar. However, Yazhini’s father refuses to approve their marriage because Manivasagam’s village suffers from a serious water shortage. Yazhini’s father wishes for his daughter to live a comfortable life without facing hardship, and he believes that marrying into a village without proper water resources would make her life difficult.
Determined to solve the problem and prove himself, Manivasagam decides to dig a well in front of his house so that the village can have a reliable source of water. The villagers come together and support him in this effort.
